Henan museum is located in the city of zhengzhou in henan province agriculture road, is a national key museum, is one of the museum of Chinese set up earlier, is also one of the first batch of the central and the local and national museum. Henan museum, formerly known as henan provincial museum, was founded in the 16th year of the republic of China (1927) under feng yuxiang, and was located at 31 sansheng street, longting district, kaifeng city. The site was changed several times, and in 1961 it was moved to zhengzhou, which opened on May 1, 1998.   The exhibition hall has an area of more than 10,000 square meters and a collection of 140,000 cultural relics. More than collections of cultural relics from the early twentieth century shangqiu, luoyang, anyang, kaifeng, xichuan, sanmenxia, huixian, xinzheng, archaeological excavations, artifacts, chow tai bronze ware, ceramics, jade's most distinctive. Among them, there are more than 5000 cultural relics of national level and national secondary cultural relics. The value of historical and cultural art is extremely high, and some of them are honored as the heavy equipment of the state. During the war of resistance against Japan, some of the precious cultural relics of the henan museum were eventually enshrined in the national museum of Taiwan.
