Zhengzhou museum, founded in July 1957, is a local comprehensive museum. The original pavilion was built in August 1928 and covers an area of 4,330 square meters. In 1997, zhengzhou municipal committee and municipal government decided to build a new pavilion, which was completed and opened to the public on December 28, 1999. Zhengzhou museum new museum covers an area of 14.8 mu, with a building area of 14200 square meters. The main pavilion is 8337 square meters.
