Yuyao museum is located at the foothill of Longquan mountain with exquisite scenery. Its overall floorage is 1,600 square meters and was opened to the public on January 18, 2003. There are five exhibition halls in the museum, including three basic halls and two temporary halls. The three basic halls are composed by prologue hall, ceramic hall and bronze jade hall, exhibiting nearly 300 typical cultural relics from Hemudu the Neolithic Age to Ming and Qing dynasties vividly and showing the long, extensive and profound historical culture to people.
