Zhengzhou natural museum is a museum which is supported by special funds of zhengzhou municipal government and the construction of zhengzhou normal university. The museum is mainly engaged in the collection and exhibition of animals, plants, paleontology, minerals, soil, water resources, etc., which integrates teaching, scientific research and science popularization. Since the establishment of the museum, it has been named "wildlife conservation foundation" and "the science popularization education base of zhengzhou city" by henan provincial forestry department and zhengzhou science and technology association. The exhibition hall covers an area of 3,000 square meters and has 9 permanent exhibition areas. The first layer is set: songshan spring, south China summer wind, river autumn, snow and ice, aquatic world; The second floor is: insect world, life support, green imagination, and the creation of the show. The exhibition hall has a collection of nearly 10,000 specimens, among which there are hundreds of rare animal specimens, such as Yangtze alligators, giant lizards, red-crowned cranes, golden eagles, golden cheetahs, etc. Some of the rare specimens are the reuse of the animal rescue center and the animal resources of the zoo, which are designed and made by museum professionals. Most of the specimens, texts and pictures show the latest research results of provincial and municipal scientific research projects. At the same time, a number of temporary thematic exhibitions will be introduced each year.
